Step by Step

How To: Cast Off and Cast Back On - Step 1

Step 1

Knit to the point where you want to start your cast off edge.

Knit 2 stitches, pass the first of these 2 stitches up and over the second stitch and off the needle.

Knit 1 stitch, pass the previous stitch up and over this stitch and off the needle.

Repeat step 3 until you have cast off the desired number of stitches.

Knit to the end of the row.
