Start with a slip knot.

Chain 3.

Insert the hook into the second chain from the hook, yarn over and pull through.

Insert the hook into the third chain from the hook, yarn over and pull through.

Remove the hook from the first 2 loops, but keep them tightly in your other hand to not lose them.

Yarn over and pull your yarn through the first loop.

Then insert your hook into the middle loop, yarn over and pull through.

Then insert your hook into the final loop, yarn over and pull through.

Continue to grow your piece by repeating steps 5-8 until you have reached your desired cord length.

To finish the cord, yarn over and pull through all 3 loops.
