How To Weave In The Ends With Moss Stitch - Step 1

You will need to weave your ends in at the end of your project to prevent them from unravelling.

Thread your sewing needle with your first yarn tail.

Now your going to weave your yarn tail along the stitch pattern of your moss stitch. So first take your yarn and needle up under the first horizontal bar by your yarn tail.

Then take your sewing needle and yarn behind the two vertical bars coming out of the top of this horizontal bar, then back down under the horizontal bar.

Then take your yarn under the vertical bar immediately to the side of the horizontal bar, and up and down around the horizontal bar above the vertical bar.

Then under the second vertical bar next to the previous vertical bar.

Continue following the path of the stitches in this way until you’ve woven in approx. 10cm/4” of your tail, then cut the yarn close to the last stitch.

If you have another end in the same place, weave it in the same way but in the opposite direction so you don’t have 2 ends woven into the same stitch.
